| Visual Form-Book - Ratings |  | DataForm Handicap Ratings(DaH) are compiled by DataForm's own independent computer handicappers but can be edited. DataForm Speed Ratings(DaS) are compiled from DataForm's own Standard Times for all UK and Irish Courses and Distances.
A plus (+) sign after DataForm Speed ratings indicates the Going was probably softer than the Official Going suggests (All times of all results at each meeting are compared with DataForm Handicap Ratings to determine the accuracy of the Official Going). A minus (-) sign after DataForm Speed Ratings indicates the Going was probably firmer than the Official Going suggests.
A plus (+) sign after DataForm Handicap Ratings indicates the horse could have achieved a much better rating (because it won with something in hand or was unlucky in running).
